The Playlist — local bands, interviews and alternative music with Julie Cottrell and Stewart Ireland.
Stewart Ireland began his life in radio by joining the volunteers gaining work experience at Delta FM in the very early 2000s. After volunteering there and working with presenters and production staff, he was offered my own show and also became the station’s news reader.
During this time he was also able to work with various other regional radio stations across the south, conducting interviews and bulletins for broadcast, as well as advertising reads and weather reports.
He joined Wey Valley Radio when it relaunched co presenting an evening show playing an eclectic mix of music, discussing local live music and interviewing local, national and international bands. This show is The Playlist.
He is also one of the Directors of Wey Valley Radio.
