Friday Night Dance Music

Every Friday from 8–9pm, Jodie Seal brings you the very best dance tracks from the 90s to today, delivering an energetic mix guaranteed to start the weekend in style.

Originally from Australia and a former Miss Australia, Jodie Seal joined Wey Valley Radio eight years ago.

Alongside her friend Chris Stone, she previously co-hosted Wey Valley Unearthed — a popular weekly feature showcasing local bands and emerging talent through live acoustic performances and relaxed studio interviews. She hopes to relaunch the show soon to continue supporting the incredible untapped talent in Alton and the surrounding area.

Her favorite time working for the station was in lockdown, as she interviewed locals remotely and felt such a huge community spirit.

Away from radio, Jodie is also an experienced TV presenter and actress, with film appearances alongside Alec Baldwin and roles in the Jeepers Creepers horror film trilogy.

A passionate fan of live music and DJ culture, Jodie loves nothing more than dancing until dawn — and she brings that same energy and enthusiasm to the airwaves every week.

Tune in every Friday evening — you’re guaranteed a great start to the weekend.
