Chris Stone
Chris Stone has lived with his family in Alton for just over 25 years now.
He grew up in the lovely village of West Meon; and after training to be a primary school teacher in Birmingham, moved back this way to be closer to family.
He’s worked as a teacher predominantly in a junior school in Basingstoke, and more latterly, at a primary school in Aldershot.
He was lucky enough to be a presenter on Hospital Radio in Birmingham for a short while, and followed this up in Alton by firstly helping out for a short time with a weekly programme on the first version of Wey Valley.
He then rejoined Wey Valley Radio in August of 2018 as a regular presenter.
His other passion is helping out with Sound at Holybourne Theatre. He loves listening to music, particularly music from the 90’s as it has great memories of his time at University!!!
