The Acoustic Cafe Radio Show has a magazine format with both regular and one off features presented by Brian Player and his team.
Having been associated with radio for more years than he cares to admit Brian Player started in the mid 70’s presenting shows on his local hospital radio station radio Frimley Park.
This eventually led to him organising the station programmes, and with commercial radio in its infancy he was asked to arrange the scheduling for one of the franchise bidders applying for the Guildford area licence. This was eventually won by County Sound Radio.
Given the freedom of retirement in 2011 he got into internet radio, producing shows for Covent Garden Radio and Blues and Roots Radio plus some other community broadcasters.
In 2017 with the re-formation of Wey Valley Radio he was offered the chance to put together a live show engaging with his many contacts in the musical community.
As well as presenting his weekly show Brian acts as MC for live events representing Wey Valley Radio in the local community.
