I’ve spent more than half of my life behind a microphone, whether that’s in a radio studio or in a football stadium.

I loved my time as one of the presenters at Delta Radio, and later Kestrel FM, and it’s great to be back on the radio in the area. One of my most vivid memories was turning up at the Bordon office to do my drive time show at 3pm one cold but clear winter’s afternoon, and being snowed in when it was time to leave at 7pm, and staying the night – most of that time remaining on air, talking to our listeners late into the night. It’s memories like that make radio very special. And I feel that local radio in particular can play an important role in our community life.

If you’re ever down the road at Fratton Park, you’ll hear my voice as the stadium announcer at Portsmouth Football Club. Otherwise, I look forward to your company on Wey Valley Radio.
